Marta was my classmate from the 7th through the 12th grade. I had not seen her since high school graduation. My deepest sympathy to her family. I will pray for the eternal repose of her soul and for comfort and strength for her family during these trying moments. May her soul rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her. God bless you.

Marta was one of the most loving, caring, and giving people I ever knew.
I am sad to hear of her passing, but am happy for her that she is at peace with the Lord she was so devoted to serving.

How wonderful to have walked with and been loved by a saint. When I reflect on why so many people loved this woman of God there's only one saying that comes to my mind:
"There is nothing more attractive than holiness" -Matthew Kelly
Lord -thank you for all the love we've felt through Marta. Please help us with Your Grace to follow in this path of holiness that we to will continue her legacy of drawing others to You by allowing Your LOVE to fill us. Amen
St. Marta -pray for us.
Looking forward to seeing you again Marta. Love, Jen Eberhardt

Just received the news of Marta's passing. How sad and at the same time how grateful I am to have met this blessed daughter of God. It was in the 80's, when I was living in Baltimore, that I met Marta and her beautiful family. It was a true blessing to have met her husband Kevin and to witness how their faith in Christ guided their lives. The joy of Christ was a ray of light shining through them, even when they were facing very difficult life situations. Marta's support was crucial in my decision to enter the seminary 22 years ago. I will celebrate her life in my daily Mass every day for a few days. David, Kevin, Margarita: un abrazo!
